At Colgate, we work hand in hand with the Central New York Land Trust to preserve and protect the region’s forests, wetlands, and open spaces. By mobilizing student volunteers for land stewardship, trail maintenance, and habitat restoration, we strengthen the Trust’s mission while giving students direct experience in conservation.
Together, we’re ensuring that the natural landscapes of Central New York remain vibrant and resilient for future generations.

Becoming part of the Ecological Preservation Society is simple, just bring your passion for the environment.
You can stop by one of our weekly meetings, held every Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Benton 106, or email us at
ecologicalpreservationsociety@gmail.com.
Whether you want to volunteer, learn more about conservation, or connect with like-minded students, we welcome all who are ready to make a difference.
